The Wonderful World of Claire

She's just the right height to stand up on her own under this part of the computer desk and pull everything out, which keeps her busy so I can do stuff.

 and he knows you're taking pictures of it (love them both!)

 -when you combine a pink dress and Claire bear

 -when Claire gets a Valentine in a package

 -when I get ready in the morning and Claire is awake

 -when you love watching Claire crawl (you take a video)

Queen of Tarts

I made tarts for the first time! and they turned out delicious! I wanted to use some pineapple in a recipe and found this one: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/hawaiian-tarts/detail.aspx

The comments that people left were super helpful and let me know if they would be tasty or not.

(There's an odd amount in the picture because I was eating one as I was taking the picture!)

 Claire crawled under the computer chair and tried to sit up, but was hitting her head on the seat.

 Then she had trouble getting out!

Often Claire will say: Mamamama

or when she's "calling' to me from her crib in the morning she'll say: yayayaya!
Other times she'll make sounds that are close to dada and baba

 If you look closely you can see her top teeth!

Cookin' Chillin' and Being Sick

So lately I've been trying out a lot of recipes. Can I just say that I love the internet as a recipe resource? Of course I love my cook books, but when you have random ingredients, Google makes cooking dinner a delight. Here are links to some online recipes I've tried:

 So, Claire has been exploring more and more. She is so much fun to be with when Skyler's gone all day. She's been getting her top teeth in and maybe sick on top of that (it's hard to tell if it's one or both). Then Skyler and I got sick, so it's been interesting, but we've somehow managed to stay happy with the misery of runny noses and dry throats. Skyler's been loving his Peppermint herbal infusion.

 So cute seeing them nap together!

One day Claire had a hard time letting herself have her afternoon nap, so I left her crying in her bouncy and I found her like this. Thankfully I strapped her in! Also, it's been a new trick of hers to take off her right sock.
