Waiting for the Wedding

We've had David and Rachael's wedding on our minds for a while now and the past two weeks have been the most intense with anticipation and preparation! But I managed to take some photos.
I tried making sand slime. It was disgusting kneading it, but it's not so bad in a plastic container. I enjoyed watching Claire (and Skyler) play with it.

Claire earned the money to buy this cute little turtle that she named Walker because he walks. This was a night that we ate out at a restaurant.
Todd was so grabby and wiggly! He finally settled on playing with a straw.
I know this video doesn't work, but it was so cute watching Claire give Todd a piano lesson: "Practice this for two weeks. Do you think you can do that?"

Two peas in a pod

Besides the fact that Claire looks cute smiling really hard in this picture, in the background are two rings that Skyler ordered online. His original wedding band went missing about a year ago. One is a classic silver band. The other is a cheaper, back-up ring that's a tad bit too big. Also, there is the goblet of gratitude inspired from President Utchdorf's general conference talk in April 2014.
Claire's awesome tracing skills. She saw me doing it and asked if she could give it a go. See her writing along the top.
Todd gave it all he got pushing these water bottles across the floor.
 Natural History museum.

This was the first time I had really heard Todd "roar" while playing. He did just recently watch a cartoon video with roaring dinosaurs in it.

Delighted that Daddy is home for dinner and that he let him use a real fork to feed himself.
 Feeding himself yogurt.

I love the way they're cuddling together and how Todd is looking at me.

 Chilling in their cardboard airplane.

I love my little boy and girl!

So stink'n cute!

We were waiting outside of Skyler's building, in the handicap parking, while picking him up. I heard Todd giggling a lot, so I looked back to see Todd and Claire playing a game of touching hands. So cute!
We had to seize the beautiful weather today and spend time at the park.

His expressions while riding this ladybug are all different!
Ready to say family prayer before heading out the door to church. It's amazing that I had time to take a picture! This was Todd's first time wearing a tie to church. He kept it on the whole time!
Claire bought glitter glue and went to town with it, for several days. She almost went through all five colors. She learned to not make "mountains" because they take too long to dry :) I was pretty proud of myself for letting her do whatever she wanted, whenever, as long as Todd couldn't reach it.
Todd was offering me his kazoo, which was cute until I blew into it-yuck!
 Who could refuse this face?
 Mounting his trusty stead.

Skyler carrying the kids from the car to the house after a typical day of work on campus.
 This is Claire's pleading face.

This is kind of a weird angle, but Todd is playing with my wedding rings while resting his head on my leg. He usually does this when I'm changing his diaper with the other hand.
I tried to capture his face while tickling him. I love making him laugh.
 Look at those little teeth!

Halloween!

Mom and Dad: Chefs, Claire: Ballerina, Todd: Sack of Sugar
This was Skyler's first year walking from house to house trick-or-treating!
Our friends that we walked around the neighborhood with. Ninja turtles and Princess Aurora.

Claire enjoyed putting on a little bit of makeup.
She couldn't wear her ballet slippers out of the house, so she settled on rain boots.

This is what the cake looked at the beginning of the night.
After, we still had a lot of candy, which Todd and Claire enjoyed ripping off Sunday morning. Now we have a tub of candy sitting around. It's hard to estimate how much you'll need, especially in a new neighborhood.
Claire, Todd and I enjoyed looking around Monday for clearance costumes. I thought these bumblebee wings were cute, unique and fun. I know Claire and her friends will enjoy them all year round. Claire picked out this crown because it reminded her of the foam crown at Grandma Quinn's house.
