 I put this blanket around her like a poncho to keep her warm and she looked so cute!

 This was a fun and busy week for the Chemistry Society on campus and I thought I'd put this up at home

 Claire has better control of her hands, and can almost always pull her hat off and play with it or chew on it

 We had our first real snow and Skyler had fun making our car look like B.A. from the A-Team! lol

 I started giving her the bowl and spoon to play with after I feed her solids and she seems to love it. Also, the way she's smiling with her tongue curving up like that is a new thing that she's starting to do that I love!

 I had fun helping put together a little Halloween party. We enjoyed watching Coraline and playing Monopoly Deal.

Firsts

This week Claire...
-Has been sitting in a Bumbo chair a lot because one of my friends let me borrow it. I guess you could say that Claire's throne upgraded from the nursing pillow to the Bumbo.
-Sat in the front of a shopping cart with the aid of a strap that went under her armpits and across her chest. I assume she enjoyed the ride around the store. She reached forward and held onto the handle for part of it.
-Started eating rice cereal mixed with breast milk. We are now using the one baby spoon that we have, and a lot of cute bibs.

 This is what a Cricut looks like. It makes me feel like I was in the dark ages of crafting. It is so much fun to make cards and banners with it! As long as you have the right "cartridge" for it you can cut out any shape or letter, any size you want it, as long as it fits on the paper. Also, the designs sometimes have several layers so that whatever you are cutting out has a sort of 3D effect, and can be several different colors, like I made an owl with three different colors that I glued on top of each other.

One of my old, favorite pairs of jeans got a hole in them! I guess they'll make either great trendy jeans, or great shorts next summer!

I got crafty and added a little somethin' somethin' to Claire's crib.

For all of you that know about Mary Kay makeup, I went to a lips and chips party where girls brought dip and they provided chips and samples galore. I won some stuff and bought this shade of lipstick.

 Sometimes Claire likes looking at me so much that she'll bend backwards to look at me upside down!

I babysat the other Claire by myself for a little bit while trying to make dinner at the same time. It was okay, but I was happy to have Skyler's assistance when he got home.

I love how it looks like she's going to turn the page and you can tell that she's actually looking at the pictures. Then what she does next reminds me of what I felt like doing when I got tired of reading a text book. lol

 Introducing: One of my best friends has a cute blonde hair, blue eyed daughter named Claire too! and her room is decorated so cute that I had to post pictures. Do you recognize Angelina the Ballerina? My friend has amazing drawing/water color skills!
